The phone, the TV, the computer are all fun yet you do not get away from the ads, the reminders, the to-do list, the pace of things set by others. That is why I jumped at the chance to review Solitaire Chess Strategic Skill Building Game . No logging in or setting up a time to play. You just set up the space friendly board book and maybe throw a log on the fire. I like a challenge, I like time to ponder or putter and I love games. ThinkFun’s Solitaire Chess fits all these categories. It also purports to reduce stress and provide a good brain workout. So far so good but we’ll see about the stress level when I get to the harder levels... It is really portable so I am trying to get myself to take it outside and get some extra Vitamin D.
